Welcome.
I'm an artist living in coastal Maine. My paintings are a mishmash of vintage/antique paper collage layers and art-making mediums (pencil, pen, acrylics, oils, etc.). I use whatever I think may create the effect I'm looking for at that moment. I often paint over found paintings, always leaving small touches of the original piece sneaking through.
I am a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and have paintings in collections throughout the US and all over the globe. I create art primarily as a means to help understand the world around me, my place in it and my reactions to it. You could call it an abstract visual diary of sorts, I guess.
I no longer take commissions but am still happy to consider editorial illustration gigs. I primarily sell my work online for the sake of ease, and it also suits my antisocial tendencies.
This website is a work in progress. If a painting below is for sale, you will find a link to its listing for more information, images and price.
